It did make me feel better how much they got stained

By the time I got back, your shoes were in a bad state
I tried to wipe 'em off, but hey they didn't look great
I ran 'em through the washer and the dryer as well
But that just changed their color, they still smelled like hell
So I went back to your room and left 'em under your bed
I left a sticky note on your head that said

Don't make my mistake, and take 'em twenty-two
