Oh my God
I'm so excited for the next Marvel movie
Regardless of which just the next one I'm so excited
But what if it does to me what Spider-Man 3 did to me and
I drove to Portland to see it with a bunch of friends and
It was so bad
We spent the car ride home making Stan parodies being like
Dear Spidey, it's been so long and you still ain't webbing
Is it too much to hope

Been addicted to getting excited for upcoming things I dig
I've been getting so hyped for the things I like
Ever since I was only like a little kid
Superheroes on my TV every weekend when I'm seven
Wishing I didn't have to wait just skip ahead like David Tennant
Bad reviews ya couldn't send it cause we didn't have a Reddit
Lame and I would just be tempted make it Quake like Chole Bennet and
It means that bang for that buck
We didn't have much
I'll cry if it sucks yo
Movies and such, what's packed in my lunch
Anticipations, I'm going so nuts
From the things that I see on the big screen
Driving at 16
Favorite band's CD
Getting so excited for the weather that'll greet me
Or the console that I'll plug in my TV
When the things you love they're testing all your patience
There's nothings better when they meet those expectations

Everybody wanna make ya feel like you don't wanna keep your hopes too high but
Every so often ya gotta place your faith and trust in an exciting lineup
Ain't nobody on the outside even really gonna understand the kick you're having
Highs and lows and the pains and the joys in hopes that they can stick that landing
Sometimes I feel I've been tested
By the emotions that I've invested
In time you learn all those lessons
But when it's worth it, it's such a blessing

Getting everything that I could wish
In bliss whenever I don't shake my fist
In attempt to be rapping like a scientist
Kinda figured I should give you all a top 5 list
Number 5 could have been number 1, okay
And it goes to the very first show that I played
Shark Bar was amazed at the friends that were made
Opened doors that I still use to this day
Number 4, Spidey flipped in and he ganked Cap's shield
And the movie came out, it was dope, I was thrilled
Number 3 couple Gs that I paid for my PC
Knocking on wood but it's still so lovely
Number 2 was the love that I made with my wife
It changed every single part of my life, it was nice
Number 1 the results of the actions of 2
Olivier baby so damn cool
My hopes so high, expectations were set
Could it possibly beat what has been in my head
But some things surpass and exceeded it
Filled me with hope back when I really needed it

Everybody wanna make ya feel like you don't wanna keep your hopes too high but
Every so often ya gotta place your faith and trust in an exciting lineup
Ain't nobody on the outside even really gonna understand the kick you're having
Highs and lows and the pains and the joys in hopes that they can stick that landing
Sometimes I feel I've been tested
By the emotions that I've invested
In time you learn all those lessons
But when it's worth it, it's such a blessing

Bang on release day, feeling the heatwave
I might even start me a TikTok
I'll take me a remake, watch it get replayed
When it hit on my soul like a beat drop
When it comes to this feeling, they can't defeat me
Automatic target is the chart top
And I'm taking it easy, caring so deeply
Gonna be the same til my heart stops
What they're offering in marketing can often be disheartening
They're promising to put me the zone
But they often can't deliver any more than just a sliver
And the hatred we all feeling makes me never feel alone
And I don't be the one to try to focus on the negatives
But if we're pointing fingers then they're going to executives
And if a piece of art can rise on up and defeat that
I'mma champion forever and ya better believe that
When the things you love they're testing all your patience
There's nothings better when they meet those expectations

Everybody wanna make ya feel like you don't wanna keep your hopes too high but
Every so often ya gotta place your faith and trust in an exciting lineup
Ain't nobody on the outside even really gonna understand the kick you're having
Highs and lows and the pains and the joys in hopes that they can stick that landing
Sometimes I feel I've been tested
By the emotions that I've invested
In time you learn all those lessons
But when it's worth it, it's such a blessing

Uh ya know I'd say maybe like a 3 out of 5
Ya know
Maybe maybe a 6 out of 10
I don't know if that
Does that
I'm not a math guy
Does that convert
I don't know ya know it's fine
It's fine
It's alright I like it
It's not great
