My honey loves the wildlife 'round our house
A love for animals is quite attractive in a spouse
But lately it's been getting kind of hard
'Cause there's critters moving in here and not staying in the yard

At first it was a mess and quite alarming
But soon enough my heart got soft and now I find it charming
At least they are not typical as pets
We love them like our family and keep all we can get

There's a turtle in the sink in the bathroom
And a snail made a trail on the counter
There's a rabbit in the back of the spice rack
And a robin on a perch in the closet
There's a chipmunk in my grandad's trunk
There's a toad in the sodastream
There's a bat in the air wearing underwear
And a turkey in the tub
