See I've been working overtime
Polished to the point that I over shine
When my time is over Imma float to the sky
The moment will be frozen in time
Keep ya head up son and hold it high
Ya art will become a master piece if you mold it right
Don't get influenced by those who are blowing time
Make something of this life, you know it's only right
And I'm over crime
Watch the news just to ask how many total died
The problem is no longer localized
Yet nothing ever gets solved, only opinions vocalized
For the country they love that's why our soldiers fight
Don't trespass on my grounds boy I know my rights
I know I'm right and like a strobing light
I could be a flash in the pan, or become the man over night
You see I used to feel left out
Stressed out, detached from my peers like the guest house
Watching two of my ex's become best pals
I realize I'm blessed now, walk with my chest out
Nowadays I don't press I just stretch the field
No need to fret cause I got rhythm plus I'm dressed to kill
Girls come to the crib to Netflix and chill
If girls are oil, where next to drill?
I can't help the fact I got mad sex appeal
Y'all just hating cause y'all possess next to nil
I'm obsessed with thrill
The experience is extra real
I got a lust for life so don't push me
Made for the majors, I can't stand the Busch league
Been around for a minute I'm no rookie
And you sure as hell cant trip me up, word to my foot speed
Over time the drama escalates
Don't let them catch you on an escapade
Dig deep into ya past, they'll excavate
You got to battle back
Breakthrough like a Cadillac Escalade
It'd be my pleasure to live forever
Cause everything that's good must come to an endeavor
I was taught to never say never
Yet I hope this never ends, ever
Talk of the town like Sheriff Romero
Never switch up my name like Mitsubishi Montero
Got a lot of drive like a pair of Camaros
I swing for the fences like Vladimir Guerrero
My flow is the tightest, my word play is priceless
I perform best when the lights are the brightest
Lead my troops into battle, King Leonidas
Don't ever underestimate me, even in the slightest
See I've been working overtime
Polished to the point that I over shine
When my time is over Imma float to the sky
The moment will be frozen in time
Keep ya head up son and hold it high
Ya art will become a master piece if you mold it right
Don't get influenced by those who are blowing time
Make something of this life, you know it's only right
