We face a lot of hardships, a lot of obstacles
We all have a lot of things coming our way everyday
But man it's cool

I'm surrounded by good people
I got my friends
I got my family
But most importantly, I got God

I'm moving fast yeah I got that brisk walk
Put the actions to my feet man I'm done with the talk
The old me's dead his body's outlined with chalk
God filled the gaps like a plumber using caulk

Yeah, that's a trade bar
I work hard
I create my own music
I don't take bars

That's a double entendre
I used to be a fiend for them busses and the green monsters
Take one so the feelings fade away
But the feelings still there when I wake the next day

I had to get a grip
Got my footing cant' slip
Working through the struggle
Unsubscribe to my old life I had to cancel it

For seven years I ran from it
Avoided problems dodge and dip
Tried to stay afloat on a sinking ship
Now the world is at my fingertips
I ain't even being cocky that's just how it really is

I gotta humble myself under His mighty hand
Everything I went through was a part of the plan
Picked up the Bible had to put down the xans
Life's too short I had to give it to the Man

My life ain't mine why should I try and keep it?
Putting on some new game make sure you come and peep it
Make sure the seeds you plant are healthy cuz you're going to reap it
I'm just a vessel for the Lord, I'ma let Him teach it
