As I gaze
Through the strands of time
I only seek
To shift the paradigm
Of a world in pain
In grief and in fear
Only one can change it
And it's me who sees the years

Those things yet to pass
The strands of time to me

To all but one the future is
Something unreadable

For it's rules are uncheatable
The world is sick and plagued with pain
But I can see it is redeemable
So few are the ways
That the world can persist
And so it looks now
By death it has been kissed
Shifting through the threads
Like a banner of gold
I must choose quickly
For the world is going cold
To all but one the future is
