See the civil rights of the world, are quickly diminishing

And the time you think you have is about to expire
Because a single life-time is not enough to desire
We the human race, are simply greedy selfish beings
Every man for himself, no other way to be seeing
The things, of today will be the past of tomorrow
So if you're living right now, then the time you must borrow
Can't live in the present, because it is the past
And if you can't live in the present tell me, where is the future at?
Lost in a dream, or a night-mare as it seems
We're living day to day inside of a fantasy-scheme
So drink the rain from the sky and stand the dirt on the ground
