I have undone the bones of my toes and the skin of the soles of my feet. I have unlocked my ankles and the complex hinges of my knees. I have let go of the muscles of my calf and thigh and untied the joints of my hips. I have left empty the bowl of my pelvis that twice fed life. I have unstrung my spine and abandoned the bars of my ribs. I have released the grip of my fingers and unfolded the embrace of my arms. I have dropped the weight of my head and the chain of my neck. My tongue has left the roof of my mouth and my eyes are quiet. I have let loose myself. I am not that. Watch for me now in the glint on the wave and the roll of the sea. In the shadow of the spacious yew and the light on your morning curtain. Listen for me now in the note of the song and the sound of children's laughter, In the silence of the unspoken word.
