From trauma I was dealt but i'll be ok eventually
But still I learned some things that would help shape my destiny
Like I learned about left I learned about right
I learned about death learned about life
I learned about trust I learned about hugs
I learned about drugs and how it can effect
The people close to you you love
I learned about about years I learned about days
I learned about months and the feeling of never getting
To know your own father enough I learned about growing up
Without a dad I learned about about being jealous
Of the things i'll never have basically my life has been
Something like a learning process I know it aint much but i'm happy
With the little progress I have made i'm trying to make it
Through the Nonsense i'm 24 years old
I'm still lost and afraid talking with my with conscious
So I don't go the wrong way and I remind myself daily
That moneys just a object and it wont buy old age
I remember learning to shave so I grabbed a razor blade
Like it was easy and if i'm being honest
I was rocking some band aids the very next morning
When I went to school that day but practice makes perfect
And I ain't sad about the way things happen
I remember neighborhood man hunts and nerf gun action
Back then I could escape life with what I imagined
I remember late nights watching anime with my older brother
Back then I felt like we actually knew Each other
I remember all nighters and watching scary movies
I remember the first time that we watched ratatouille
I remember being at my brothers house by the pool playing Naruto
And our imagination is all we had and I don't know
It makes me so nostalgic I made some few friends along the way
And even if we don't stay in touch i'm thankful your presence
You were a present in my life and i'm grateful
I'm praying for your safeness there's no hatred in my heart
