Ditto (stylized as DITTO) was a company that sold software that enabled eyewear companies to sell their products online using virtual fitting. Originally Ditto was a retailer that sold designer prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. The company was originally based in San Francisco, CA before moving to Oakland, CA in 2018. It used virtual fitting technology to let customers try on eyeglass frames from a computer. The technology measured a customer's face by homing in on pupils, ears, cheekbones, ears and other facial landmarks, and then produced images of dozens of different pairs of glasses that might be a good fit. more »

There comes a time in a person's life
When they realize the fleeting glimpse, of why we as human beings exist in this world
This one is mine
I cannot say that the entirety of my existence is absolute
And that I am cognizant of everything
I know nothing
My ego has been in the driver's seat for so long
And I've sat shotgun, awaiting my next destination
It pains me to say I've grown bitter overtime
Apathetic even, overly competitive and comparative
And downright insensitive and selfish to those around me
But life has a funny way of painting things
Events, and people you encounter in specific areas and times in our life
But my time as a young boy growing up with my family, reinforced by vast wealth
Indulgence, and excessive comfort
The Bakunawa family and "Catolos" will be instrumental to my growth and my life for as long as I live
But I am comfortable and happy to say that there is no longer a need for me to return to the nest
Catolos was where I live for my life for other people
I was too afraid to be genuine.
I was constantly living in approval of others at the expense of my peace and sanity
Why did I care so much about what people thought of me?
Why?
The pursuit for approval, me seeking others' validation
By pouring so much of my attention towards them is a search for security inside the field of uncertainty
Being in the uncertain places can be terrifying, it can make us feel insecure
So the search for approval is a void of the past conditioning
It is an idea of the self that we're familiar with but we've outgrown
Development is scary
It requires change
A lot of it
You battle with your inherent nature as a child
To the attachment, to the known
But the known is your past
The past is nothing other than the prison of past conditioning
There is no evolution in that
Aboslutely none at all
Where there is no evolution
There is entropy, stagnation, and decay
