I must admit my parents tried too
They took me to a private school

Should've done better in high school
No site of brighter day in the midst of gloom
And the sun's showing no signs of coming out soon

Tryna silence my anxieties

Hypomanic episodes
I was high on mandrax when I wrote
Not such a happy note
That everything you need to know
I left it in the envelope
But check it on a broad scope
Depression's not a joke
One, too many times I got my heart broke
Too many lost loved ones left a gaping hole
I've lost all control
Of my mind, body and soul
Received God's call
Never heard a word the Lord spoke
I'm out here all alone
Can't find my way home
Cause I'm looking for oasis in deserts of lost hope
All my goals and dreams were not enough to draw strength
Reeking alcohol smell
And stale cigarette breath
I'm in a deep state of ill mental health
I'm so scared to face my fears but not death
But I admitted to myself
That I needed to get help
