So when did disagreeing on something become the worst thing
Yet, so many people because of politics or faith or other things can't even sit in a room And have a conversation
Because they disagree on one thing that they think is everything
But that's because they're leading with their emotions not leading with respect
Talk with me walk with me let's have a convo
We might see it different but let's share our thoughts though
Talk with me - let's Converse like a pair of Chucks
If we see it different in the end - fair enough
Talk with me walk with me let's have a convo
We might see it different but let's share our thoughts though
Talk with me - let's Converse like a pair of Chucks
If we see it different in the end - fair enough
We all got that lean left or right either way
Probably goes back to the way we were raised
You might have embraced or might have pushed away
But that don't mean you can't learn something new today
Everybody screaming Man the other side hates
But neither side sittin down trying to conversate
They just grip the podium ready to debate
Buy no matter what side you take the country's still great
We can make it better though, we just gotta try
Welcome to the party, leave the parties outside
I ain't sayin you shouldn't stand for what you think is right
But we ain't gotta kill each other, we ain't gotta fight
I ain't talkin bout the obvious, ain't talking bout the evident
If hatred is blatant then this song is irrelevant
No matter who gets voted in as president
It's a circus anyway with all these donkeys and elephants
Talk with me walk with me let's have a convo
We might see it different but let's share our thoughts though
Talk with me - let's Converse like a pair of chucks
If we see it different in the end - fair enough
Talk with me walk with me let's have a convo
We might see it different but let's share our thoughts though
Talk with me - let's Converse like a pair of Chucks
If we see it different in the end - fair enough
Never judge a man by the color of his skin
They say judge him by the color of the party that he's in
If he's red he hates women and minorities
If he's blue he hates police and wants everything for free
These are the things that they want us to believe
It's no wonder - we got all this animosity
I ain't sayin we ain't got people out on the extremes
But why are these the only ones they want us to see?
If you carry for protection that don't make you a fanatic
I know a lotta Dems packin semi-automatics
The signal coming in is what's causing all the static
And the fact we let em feed it to us, that's what I call tragic
Yeah I'll admit I'm not a fan of the system
It works against us all and it needs a lot of fixing
I said we need to talk, more like we need to listen
There's more hate across these party lines than the Mason-Dixon
Talk with me walk with me let's have a convo
We might see it different but let's share our thoughts though
Talk with me - let's Converse like a pair of chucks
If we see it different in the end - fair enough
Talk with me walk with me let's have a convo
We might see it different but let's share our thoughts though
Talk with me - let's Converse like a pair of Chucks
If we see it different in the end - fair enough
