Light shines
In the darkest times
It took me to realize
In my dark times
How dim my light shine

Focus on my brokenness

Beautiful roses still arise.

But it can't be
My nightmares became dreams
All while running away from
My realities
It seemed, my garden was Pershing.

Lost in commitment,
My garden aided for assistance
How is it, that your clothed
But the reflection,
reflects nakedness?
Who's the cause for the abandonment?

It's the soil that enhances growth
How can I
The gardener ignore scorch seeds
When the water within me is empty
Due to my own dehydration
When the well beside me has plenty
Aww beautiful roses, forgive me

What is it to build on shallow ground
Dirt roads with no moisture
It is impossible without God's word

How do we flourish
If our hearts are being discourage
A flower is a flower
And I apologize beautiful roses

And as I notice pain
I realize the canvas I'm painting
It is only by God's grace this Garden is living
