Flashback two years ago 
I'm telling you I was a whole different person 
The easily irritated, arrogant, and negligent version  
I was prideful I told people I didn't you or your help

I didn't know about the truth, so I was eating the cap 
Socially awkward, tryna fit in with the coolest of cats (Yeah) 
If they gave my lean, I would've sipped it 
If they gave me a blunt, I would've hit it 
I didn't care about my image

August 16th, 2021, I made the decision  
To put that old life behind me and throw away all that sinning 
And now that light that I never saw I could finally see it 
Stopped all that sinning 
Cause' where I'm tryna go I ain't gonna need it 
And now my flesh just be starving 
Because I aint gonna feed it 
I used to read the word before 
But now I finally believe it 
Scriptures stay on my lips 
So imma always repeat it 
God all the glory is yours
