Lay down in bed, and I'm walking through my mind
Tryna figure out every little crack inside
Always passed life by, so I guess it's time
To pick apart the visions going through my eyes
When I'm dreaming, I create my own world
Gold and the gleam
I sit down at my own throne no one can see but me
I can fight my own wars, holding the peace
Giving Ls never close to defeat
When I'm dreaming I dream of a world like this one
Different paths, different ways to take
I dream of one day where I'd be content
And not have to dwell on my past mistakes
I dream of love not being so much an idea
As something I can truly see
But I can't sleep forever, so I wake back up
And have to face my reality

When I'm dreaming, I can see it
See the love that I never want to go away
There is peace when there's no blinking
Visions in my head when I start to break
No reason, but I'm reaching
Thinking on my own of not being alone
But I see that I'm just dreaming
Searching everywhere just to find my home
I wanna be happy I wanna dream
Wanna smile and feel, yeah it sounds obscene
But I also wanna run away from everything
Always turn my back to it, but I start to fiend

Down to abyss, straight into the black
I always try to drift from the negative path
But before I even know it I can feel me crack again
And so what's happening to me?
The things that I want are the things I never see
In real life only time is in my dreams
Run away here to stay it's tearing me
Into pieces I think too much just breathe
Try to relax cause it's bad if I overthink
But I try, wanna find my purpose he's
A bit evasive, My place is on the brink of time
And I see a bunch of lies
That were told to me by everyone I love
Saying I'm deserving and to keep my head up
But I can't relate, I just start to shake I just clam up
To the same people that don't feel my pain and say to man up
Time came, broke both my legs, can't stand up
Tired of using both my arms to crawl, got no stamina
I know no one's coming but I still keep my hand up
Man I been ran up
Parasites always eat the host
No one's ever there when you're needing them the most
Tell them that you'll always be there so you know
But that only makes it hurt worse when they turn ghost
Huh, so just let me ride
On my rollercoaster just for tonight
Watch me go low, and watch me go high
Look at all the good that I've been denied
So I'm dreaming
