Or the company of friends

The world is full of wonder again
And I'm starting to believe in possibilities

Now radiant with promise on the horizon
God is good
But more importantly

Is now as foreign to me as the anxiety it wrought
I'm learning how to go through life with open arms
And I've been practicing the art of letting my guard down
And even though the old reflexes still twitch from time to time
In some corner in the back of my mind
I'm beginning to accept the good for what it is
Without waiting in resigned fear
For what comes next
