This is my angry break up song
I didn't need you all along
So I'm standing on the edge of this bridge
It's not because of you
I'm just tired of this mess
If you thought that I would swear
Well you're just not worth the time
And if my song's explicit
Then I'll never climb the charts
This ain't about making art
It's all for the dolla' dolla' bills baby
Yeah it's all about the money honey
And I think it's funny honey
How you ever thought that I could care about you
I just need you as my muse
So these songs get on the air
A broken heart's the only way
To be a millionaire

If you ever loved me
Please don't let me know
As soon as the words leave your lips
I'll probably have to go
I don't need a scene partner
For this one man show
So get off my stage
And give me some space

This is my angry break up song
Play it for the paparazzi on my lawn
I already tried to drown myself in the bath
But it didn't work
Because it's all filled up with cash
I switched out your pictures
For platinum records on my wall
You send me texts and say you miss me
I just ignore them all
My mom thought you were the one
But sometimes my mom is wrong
I promise she won't be offended
She doesn't listen to my songs
My friends keep on saying
That I need therapy
I guess they won't be getting shoutouts
In my Grammy acceptance speech

If you ever loved me
Please don't let me know
As soon as the words leave your lips
I'll probably have to go
I don't need a scene partner
For this one man show
So get off my stage
And give me some space

This is my angry break up song
I guess I really loved you all along
I'm so sorry that I pushed you away
It doesn't make any sense for me to say please say
The only reason I wrote this song
I couldn't quite cope with the fact that I was wrong
You made things feel like they'd always be alright
I wish I had asked you to be my wife
But now you're long gone
So I leave these words on your machine
Here's hoping that you still miss me
All the money and the fame
Just brings me down
Maybe this will fade
When I'm six feet underground
