Hello listeners, this is Horst Grabosch with a machine voice complete with Indian accent. I love these jokes!

When I started making music again in 2019 after more than 20 years, everything had become different from my time as an active professional musician. Firstly, I could no longer play my former main instrument, the trumpet, and secondly, the entire music industry and the production possibilities with regard to electronic sound generation had changed fundamentally. So I started from scratch.

The first artist identity I released music under was the Entprima Jazz Cosmonauts. The name had everything in it. The name of my record company, my love of jazz and the urge to explore possibilities. Fortunately, vocal tracks from recordings of my son's band were freely available to me, so I could concentrate more on technical things in the first attempts. These recordings were clearly in the EDM genre. So I produced EDM tracks that were spiced with my musical imagination.

Havanna Memories was the first recording I released, and 5 others followed in the same production style. After that, I experimented with other means, and out of that came a stage play in which a coffee machine, which was supposed to be equipped with artificial intelligence, produced music videos on the fly, based on ideas from a group of three young couples. This coffee machine was named "Alexis", in reference to Amazon's "Alexa".

As the musical focus of the Cosmonauts shifted more and more towards storytelling, I decided to give "Alexis" her own artist identity that would continue to produce dance music. This compilation contains 4 dance tracks from the Cosmonauts as well as some tracks from "Alexis". In order to give the listener variety, they are put here in an order that seems to me to make musical sense.
