That when describing the fork in the road
Each person can independently relate
Whether it be a small choice or a big one

One road to rule them all

But unlike the followers, the road has no power
The road, despite being praised as the creator
Is but the product of the follower
The follower unknowingly built the road before it
All roads before the current road are built by the follower
The followers cannot conceive of it
The followers of the road only understand one thing about the road
The fork
The power that stands between them and the road in front of them
The followers look at the fork
Stunned by it's presence
Surprised of it's position
Yet all too well knowing of its existence
As the followers take their duty
Deciding to step one way or the other
They take two more steps
Look behind them
And see that the road is suddenly straight
Which begs the question
Was the fork even there to begin with?
