We used to sit in the grass
At our local park
Watching the road
We'd sit there until dark
The autumn leaves
Flow down from the trees

Talking bout useless things

A few years down the line
I don't speak to anybody from that time
I walk past the place we used to share

Then later that night
I went down to the store

As I walk to the door
And when I walk in

I completely forget to recognise

A few years down the line
I come back to this town for a second time

By chance I see your face again
You look just as young as you did then
But all it takes is one look down

How much my life changed
