The police had a problem on the streets of Detroit’s east end 
With addiction, fights, and drug wars killing off the town’s good men 
The first precinct captain said, “let’s go and stop these mothas”
“We can catch and arrest them all, if we just go undercover”

Now the second precinct cops, they had a similar thought 
They’d pretend to be drug buyers so the sellers would get caught 
While the first precinct police dressed up like dealers and thugs
The second precinct cops went to score themselves some drugs

Overdoses, murders, we all want it to stop 
It seems the way to do this is    have police arrest the cops 

Yeah, the first precinct went out one night and set up a drug den 
Had meth, cocaine, and opioids sold by undercover men 
Second precinct’s officers got all dressed up as buyers
Had cash and looked like addicts, except they were wearing wires 

The buyers found the dealers, as they went to make their buys 
And they called out for backup ‘cause they were gonna bust these guys 
Second precinct flashed their badges, when the criminals were found 
Pulled out their guns said “now get your asses on the ground!”

Now, the first precinct ‘dealers’ were police themselves as well
So they pulled out their own guns and told the second “go to hell” 
And quickly a big fight broke out as they gathered in a bunch 
Put one dude in a headlock, knocked out another with a punch 

The police then finally realized that both their stings were botched 
While the dude whose house it happened in, he just stood there and watched
They had to call an ambulance for one guy who got beat 
But now Detroit is safe without these felons on the street
