Clifford Brown Quartet was a jazz group led by the influential and talented trumpeter Clifford Brown. The quartet was active in the 1950s and consisted of Clifford Brown on trumpet, Harold Land on tenor saxophone, Richie Powell on piano, and George Morrow on bass. They were known for their energetic and innovative bebop style. Unfortunately, Clifford Brown's promising career was tragically cut short when he died in a car accident at the age of 25.
