Reality was surprising to me
Over the road I've had a coming home load full of fantasy
I could almost hear what her love words would be
But she opened the door upset and she poured out Reality

The baby needed formula
The kids needed shoes   
 She cannot make them behave
 Like I always do
 The washer is on the blink
 She hadn't had time to think
 How she could make my fantasy Reality

I got a babysitter to give her relief
To give her some time to relax and unwind all alone with me
I say I hate to admit it, I came home selfishly
