Janis Joplin & the Full Tilt Boogie Band was an American rock band led by renowned singer Janis Joplin. Active during the late 1960s, they gained popularity for their energetic performances and dynamic mix of blues, rock, and psychedelic music. Janis Joplin's powerful and soulful voice, combined with the band's talented musicians, made them one of the pioneering acts in the countercultural music scene of the era. Sadly, Janis Joplin passed away in 1970, and the Full Tilt Boogie Band disbanded shortly after. more »
