Girlicious

Girlicious is an American girl group originally formed by Robin Antin, creator of the Pussycat Dolls, from the CW reality TV show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. The group was originally signed to Geffen Records and composed of members Natalie Mejia, Chrystina Sayers, Nichole Cordova and Tiffanie Anderson. Their self-titled debut album was released in Canada in August 2008 and reached number two on the Canadian Albums Chart. After Anderson left the group in June 2009, Girlicious signed with Universal Music Canada and released their second studio album, Rebuilt, in November 2010. Cordova is currently the only remaining member of the group following the departures of Mejia and Sayers in February 2011. more »

It was perfect before I opened the door
And let all the walls down on me
Didn’t know what you was holding in store
You showed me sweetness, babe, prayed on my weaknesses, baby

I’ve seen this before, in the movies for sure

And I know how it ends, I’m just tryna’ pretend

That the story has changed and the script’s rearranged
But it’s obviously not what I want to be

Now that my mind’s forgotten you, my eyes ain’t eyeing you
And I ain’t trying to, I can’t help it

These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you
These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you go

These arms won’t let you go
These arms won’t let you go

I let you into my life, I thought you were right
I thought you were worth it, but I should’ve known
Mama warned me ‘bout your type
Cause I saw all the signs, I wish I could rewind it

I’ve seen this before, in the movies for sure
And I know how it ends, I’m just tryna’ pretend

That the story has changed and the script’s rearranged

But it’s obviously not what I want to be

Now that my mind’s forgotten you, my eyes ain’t eyeing you
And I ain’t trying to, I can’t help it

These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you
These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you go

These arms won’t let you go
These arms won’t let you go
These arms won’t let you go

I don’t even feel it, don’t think that I need it
I thought I could let you go
And now I’m struggling to leave it, fingers won’t release it
I just need to let you know

Now that my mind’s forgotten you, my eyes ain’t eyeing you
And I ain’t trying to, I can’t help it

These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you
These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you go

Now that my mind’s forgotten you, my eyes ain’t eyeing you
And I ain’t trying to, I can’t help it

These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you
These arms, now these arms, now these arms will not let you go

These arms won’t let you go
These arms won’t let you go
These arms won’t let you go
