Oscar Peterson & the Very Tall Band was a musical ensemble led by jazz pianist Oscar Peterson. Known for his virtuosic skills and distinctive style, Peterson was considered one of the greatest jazz pianists of all time. The Very Tall Band was formed in the 1990s and featured Peterson on piano, along with Ray Brown on bass, Milt Jackson on vibraphone, Benny Carter on saxophone, and others.
