About Un Blodymary

"Un Blodymary" (Spanish pronunciation: [un bloðiˈmeɾi], "A Bloody Mary") is a song recorded by Spanish group Las Ketchup. The song was written by Manuel Ruiz Gómez "Queco". It is best known as the Spanish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, in Athens. Spain's status (along with France, Germany and the United Kingdom) as one of the "Big Four" guaranteed the song a final berth. Thus it was performed sixth on the night, following Norway's Christine Guldbrandsen with "Alvedansen" and preceding Malta's Fabrizio Faniello with "I Do". At the close of voting, it had received 18 points, placing 21st in a field of 24. The song was succeeded as Spanish entry by D'Nash with "I Love You Mi Vida".

Maravillosa me puse, lo he dejao tirao
Chico Martini perverso
Mucha palabra de lava tiene el desgraciao
Pero éste a mí no me engaña

Puedo ser de barrio bajo underground
Pero mi corazón se te ha declarao
Duty free, duty free, duty free

Duty free, duty free, duty free
Un Blodymary, por favor

Hubiera o hubiese habido un buen vacilón
Pintaba pluscuamperfecto

Duty free, duty free, duty free
Un Blodymary, por favor

Hubiera o hubiese habido un buen vacilón
Pintaba pluscuamperfecto
Pero tu tiempo, mira, se terminó
La noche empieza de nuevo

Hubiera o hubiese habido un buen vacilón
Pintaba pluscuamperfecto
Pero tu tiempo, mira, se terminó
La noche empieza de nuevo

Un Blodymary, por favor
