Every Mother's Nightmare (EMN) is a Heavy Metal band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1987 by vocalist Rick Ruhl and guitarist Steve Malone. Bassist, Mark McMurty, and drummer, Jim Phipps, completed the lineup. EMN blended blues, metal, and southern rock for their sound. Before moving to Nashville, Rick Ruhl spent his formative teenage years in the West Knoxville area (Concord Tn.) where he was most likely influenced by that area's local garage rock bands (featuring Bruce Watkins, Kevin Morgan and Eddie Francis.) more »
