Herbie Mann

Herbert Jay Solomon (April 16, 1930 – July 1, 2003), known by his stage name Herbie Mann, was an American jazz flutist and important early practitioner of world music. Early in his career, he also played tenor saxophone and clarinets (including bass clarinet), but Mann was among the first jazz musicians to specialize on the flute and was perhaps jazz music's preeminent flutist during the 1960s. His most popular single was "Hijack," which was a Billboard number-one dance hit for three weeks in 1975. more »

You'd be so easy to love
So easy to idolize all others above
So worth the yearning for
So swell to keep every home fire burning for

And we would be so grand at the game
Carefree together that it does seem a shame
That you can't see your future with me
Cause you'd be, oh, so easy to love

You'd be so easy to love
Easy to idolize all others above
So worth the yearning for
So swell to keep all the home fires burning for

We'd be so grand at the game
So carefree together that it does seem a shame
That you can't see your future with me
Cause you'd be, oh, so easy to love

Easy to love
Easy to love
