The song was released on 19 January 2018 as the album's third official single. Alborán described the song as the "most personal" song he's ever written.

The singer has released a studio album, a live album, four singles, four music videos and various musical collaborations. His records are distributed by EMI Music.5 which debuted in 2010 with their first official release, "Solamente tú", the first single from the debut album of Pablo Alboran, launched in February 2011.
