Psycho

Mark Hoppus, Amy Shark

About Psycho

"Psycho" is a song recorded by Australian singer-songwriter Amy Shark featuring Mark Hoppus of Blink-182. The song was released on 22 June 2018 as an album pre-order track and as the third single from Shark's debut studio album Love Monster. Shark exclaimed the release of the track was "the greatest day of her life". Speaking to Beats 1's Zane Lowe Hoppus said he met Shark in Los Angeles and she asked him to work on something together to which he agreed. Hoppus said “Amy had this great idea for a song and for me it was a lot easier than working with a lot of other artist because her music is so sparse. A lot of times it's just her and a guitar, so even just her an acoustic guitar and maybe a beat behind it. My job was really easy, I just had to not over add stuff to kill the idea that she already had.”

I can tell that you're upset right now
Think you're being a little dramatic, babe
And take me for a walk outside your house
Baby, you're on fire, let me help

And I ask you 'cause I wanna to know
Not because I'm psycho
Just because I care a lot
And I touch you the way I do
'Cause I'm falling in love with you
And I don't do this every day

I can feel your eyes across the room
Stops my heartbeat every single time
And you're talking to some guy that I once knew
What was that look when you both said goodbye

I ask you 'cause I wanna to know
Not because I'm psycho
Just because I care a lot
And I touch you the way I do
'Cause I'm falling in love with you
And I don't do this every day
And I ask you 'cause I wanna to know
Not because I'm psycho
Just because I care a lot
And I touch you the way I do
'Cause I'm falling in love with you
And I don't do this every day

And I will change all my plans just to be where you are
And all the lights in the street come on all at once
And look at you, look at you under this pretty sky
And look at me, honey, I could do this all the time

And I ask you 'cause I wanna to know
Not because I'm psycho
Just because I care a lot
And I touch you the way I do
'Cause I'm falling in love with you
And I don't do this every day
And I ask you 'cause I wanna to know
Not because I'm psycho
Just because I care a lot
And I touch you the way I do
'Cause I'm falling in love with you
And I don't do this every day

And I ask you 'cause I wanna to know
Not because I'm psycho
Just because I care a lot
And I touch you the way I do
'Cause I'm falling in love with you
And I don't do this every day
