From the age of 6 I’ve heard the voice of God. In that sense, my story is quite unconventional. From a very young age, I bore the burden that the purpose of my life was to bring people to Jesus and that a huge part of that discipleship wholly and completely had to do with how I was seen and how I interacted with others. 

As a very young disciple I was fully aware that my life was under attack. The first couple of times I went straight to my best friend, Jesus, to help me with my heartaches. After a while, the bullying overtook me and I began to doubt in my calling so much that I seriously considered ending my life. Little by little, each experience had me forgetting what God already made so clear to me repetitively throughout my life. 

It wasn’t until what felt like the most painful betrayal came from God Himself. I was forced to figure my spirituality out because I had nowhere else to go. I’d been through so many countless experiences with Him that I had no choice but to work out my friendship with Him. Whether I liked it or not, I was completely reliant upon Him. However, I refused to obey a God I didn’t love and be a part of something I didn’t agree with. So I threw my Christianity on the floor and built it back up from scratch. 

After feeling like I had been stripped and left with nothing over and over again, little by little I relearned that God is the kind of friend that never leaves and has more patience and love than we could ever understand. I’ve gained strength, courage, and most importantly, faith that I would never have gained without this rollercoaster of my life we simply call the Christian journey.

My music is a journey through my spiritual walk. Every note, every lyric, every genre, beautifully blends together and expresses how I learned to love, trust, create, and live. Most importantly, I’ve grasped what it means to live in the world while not being of it. What makes that valuable is all that can be gained; peace & joy through ANY situation. I’ve learned that how we feel shouldn’t be based on our situation, it should be based on our relationship with God. Real Christianity means constantly aiming to be ALL that He’s called us to be. 

In a nutshell, it’s running music for the Christian walk.
