Julie London (born Gayle Peck; September 26, 1926 – October 18, 2000) was an American singer, actress and game show panelist of the 1960s and 1970s. She was best known for her smoky, sensual voice. Her singing career's peak was in the 1950s as a pop and jazz singer, scoring a hit with her 1955 single "Cry Me a River". In the three and a half decades of her acting career, she co-starred opposite Gary Cooper in Man of the West (1958). Before her retirement, she later achieved renewed success with the female lead role of nurse Dixie McCall in the 1970s medical drama Emergency! Hide your heart from sight,
Lock your dreams at night,
It could happen to you.
Don't count stars
Or you might stumble,
Someone drops a sigh
And down you tumble,
Keep an eye on spring,
Run when church bells ring.
It could happen to you
All I did was wonder
How your arms would be
And it happened to me

All I did was wonder
How your arms would be
And it happened to me
