"Jumpin'" is a song recorded by English-Irish pop group Liberty X. It was released in the United Kingdom via CD single and digital download on 20 October 2003 as the second single from their second studio album, Being Somebody (2003). The song was co-written by singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas, Charlie Russell and Mike Peden. It has an up-tempo R&B sound and was showcased during Liberty X's sold-out arena tour in early 2003, quickly becoming a fan favourite. The song debuted and peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart. It also charted at number 16 on the Irish Singles Chart, number 78 on the Australian Singles Chart, number 55 on the Dutch Singles Chart and number 56 on the French Singles Chart.

Liberty X

Liberty X (originally called Liberty) are a British pop vocal group formed by the five members who were eliminated from the final ten qualifiers of the 2001 season of the ITV show Popstars. The group consisted of Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Michelle Heaton, Kelli Young and Jessica Taylor. The group went on to achieve ten consecutive UK Top 20 singles, and various charting singles worldwide, leading to greater commercial success than the winners of the 2001 series, Hear'Say. Liberty X disbanded in early 2007, but re-formed a year later in 2008, for a one-off appearance in Belfast, performing their greatest hits. more »
