"Time" is a song by American rock band Hootie & the Blowfish. It was released in October 1995 as the fourth single from their breakthrough album, Cracked Rear View. It peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one in Canada for a week in February 1996. The song also peaked at number 35 in New Zealand, number nine in Iceland and number four on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

They were originally formed in 1986 at the University of South Carolina by Darius Rucker, Dean Felber, Jim Sonefeld, and Mark Bryan. As of July 2010[update], the band had charted sixteen singles on various Billboard singles charts and recorded five studio albums; and their 1994 debut album, Cracked Rear View, was the 15th best-selling album of all time in the US, having been certified platinum 16 times. more »
