Yeah I try
So many times
In my life
To get it right
Yeah I've been a fool
For much too long
When will I learn?
When will I get it right?

Uncle John, yeah Uncle John
What's goin on?
Go and talk to your son
Yeah Uncle John, Uncle John
Talk to your brother
Sometime soon

Hey Jude tell me what can I do?
I know in times like things
It's hard hard just to love
Tell me Jude I've been wonderin where can I turn to
What can I do?
I've been wonderin and learnin and living
Doing these things that I do
Yeah Uncle John

Yeah I try
Many times
When will I learn?
When will I learn?
Yeah I've been wrong
For so long
When will I learn?
When will I learn?

Uncle John, yeah Uncle John
What's goin on now?
Go and talk to your son
Well Uncle John, yeah Uncle John
Talk to your brother
Sometime soon
Well Uncle John
Go and talk to your brother
Talk to your brother
Sometime soon

Tell me Uncle John
What the hell is goin on?
Talk to your son, talk to your son
