"Last Train Home" is the second single from Start Something, the second album by the Welsh rock band Lostprophets. This single was the band's joint highest charting in the UK, tied with "Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)". It remains their most successful in the United States, as it reached number one on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart. "Last Train Home" was released to radio on 2 December 2003.

Lostprophets

Lostprophets ( /lɒstˈprɒfɪts/) are a Welsh rock band from Pontypridd, formed in 1997. Founded by vocalist Ian Watkins, bassist (later guitarist) Mike Lewis, drummer Mike Chiplin and guitarist Lee Gaze, they were originally a side-project to hardcore punk band Public Disturbance. To date, Lostprophets have released five studio albums, including their most recent release Weapons on 2 April 2012. They are also part of the Cardiff music scene.[citation needed] more »
