"Burnin' for You" is a song by American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult, from the band's gold album, Fire of Unknown Origin, released in July 1981. The song hit #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, and the single spent three weeks in the Top 40 (peaking at #40) on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It fared better in the other trades, reaching #34 in Cash Box magazine and #35 in Record World. It was aided by a popular early MTV music video.
