"Flowers Are Red" is a song written and sung by Harry Chapin, and recorded for his 1978 album Living Room Suite. It was released a single, and became a top 20 Irish hit. The song is featured in episode 1, season 4 of Jerry Seinfeld's web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." While driving down the Long Island Expressway (the highway on which Chapin died), guest Sarah Jessica Parker relates that she and her siblings were the (uncredited) studio performers singing the chorus "There are so many colors in the rainbow. .."
