Adonis

Adonis is a pioneering figure in the history of "House Music" and "Acid House," which emerged in the mid - 1980s from Chicago. Adonis was one of the few producers to create tracks that incorporated the Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer aka Jackulator in Chicago, which would become the defining sound of Acid House. Adonis began his career as a musician in the early 1980s playing bass guitar with local bands. He started producing his own tracks in 1985, and his first release became an instant classic “No Way Back”.
