Damned is a British punk rock band formed in 1976. With their energetic and aggressive sound, the band was one of the pioneers of the punk movement. They gained popularity for their catchy songs and rebellious attitude, often addressing societal issues. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Dave Vanian, guitarist Brian James, bassist Captain Sensible, and drummer Rat Scabies. Over the years, the band went through multiple lineup changes and released several influential albums.
