The Promise Ring is an American emo band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Formed in 1995, they first split up in 2002 and temporarily reunited in 2005. In November 2011, the band registered a Twitter account sparking rumors of a reunion, which were soon after confirmed by drummer Dan Didier in an interview on AltPress.com.
