"Drain You" is a song by the American rock band, Nirvana, written by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain. It is the eighth track on their second album, Nevermind, released in September, 1991. The same version also appears as a B-side on U. K. retail editions of the first single from that album, "Smells Like Teen Spirit". A live version, recorded on December 28, 1991 at Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California, was released as the second promotional single from the live compilation, From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah, in 1996. This version peaked at number 44 on the Radio & Records US Alternative Top 50 chart. more »
