"Y Hubo Alguien" (Eng.: And There Was Somebody) is a song written by the Panamanian songwriter Omar Alfanno and Rolando “Roly” Valenzuela Fleishman performed by Marc Anthony. It was released in October 1997 as the lead single from Anthony's third album Contra La Corriente. The single became a success and was the first salsa to reach #1 on Hot Latin Tracks. "Y Hubo Alguien" was awarded two Billboard Latin Music Awards and a Lo Nuestro award.
