"Amor De Mujer" is a song by Mexican recording pop artist Paulina Rubio from her debut studio album La Chica Dorada (1992). Released as a single on January 1993 in Mexico and May 29, 1993 in United States by Capitol Latin, the song has subsequently appeared on most of Rubio's hits compilations including Top Hits (2000) and Mio: Paulina Y Sus Éxitos (2006). Like most of Rubio's first material, it was written and produced by José Ramón Flórez, Gian Pietro Felisatti y Miguel Blasco, respectively. The lyrics tells Rubio's transition "from girl to woman" and is considered one of the precursory songs as feminist anthem of the singer. A music video directed by Ángel Flores was released in January 1993 in sepia tone and color image, where Rubio roles a young girl in love and decepcionante of her boyfriend, who is a delinquent. It is the second official music video of La Chica Dorada. The song entered the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks, peaking at # 8 and was the second number one of Rubio in Mexico.more »
