The song was also their second single and peaked at number 10 in the U. S. Billboard Hot 100 on November 30 (after reaching the Top 40 on November 16) and number 6 in the UK, where it was their biggest hit. "Girl on TV" was certified Gold by RIAA in 2000 for the shipment of over 500,000 copies in the US.
