"If I Thought You'd Ever Change Your Mind" is a song that was originally performed by Edwards Hand, written by John Cameron. In 1969, it was recorded by Cilla Black, produced by George Martin and her version reached Number 20 in the UK charts and Number 19 in Ireland. In 1970, Sammy Babitzin recorded a cover version in Finnish. In 2004, it was covered by Agnetha Fältskog of ABBA and was the first single from her ninth solo album, and her first single release in 17 years. Her recording reached number two in Sweden and number eleven in the UK, selling a total of 21,000 copies, 11,000 of those in the first week. It became her highest charting single in the UK since her English solo recording career commenced in 1983.
