Bill Snyder (born October 7, 1939) is a retired American football coach and former player. He served as the head football coach at Kansas State University. He served as head football coach at the school from 1989 to 2005, and then was rehired to the position on November 24, 2008, making him one of the college football head coaches to have non-consecutive tenure at the same school, he retired on December 2, 2018.Snyder is in the College Football Hall of Fame and won several conference and national coach of the year awards. He was the head coach at Kansas State for the program's 300th, 400th, and 500th all-time wins.
