Bobby Timmons Trio was a musical group led by jazz pianist Bobby Timmons. Timmons was known for his soulful style of playing and was a prominent figure in the hard bop genre. He gained popularity in the late 1950s and early 1960s with his recordings for the Riverside and Prestige labels. The trio typically consisted of Timmons on piano, along with a bassist and drummer.
