Yeah, I know your story, morning glory
Life was swingin', everything was groovy
Your future bright, love and light
Then winter hit just like a cyclone through me
You bowed and you disappeared waitin' for the axe to fall
As long as we all cheered, you never took the curtain call
Dolly back, fade to black
Don't wanna say it, but I've seen this movie
(But I've seen this movie)

(Yeah, yeah)
She walks with the angels (tonight, in those diamond shoes)
She talks to strangers (she might, they can't refuse)
Jukebox in the dance halls (ignite, she lights the fuse)
She walks with the angels (she walks with the angels)

Came the day the floor gave way
You said you're standin' in the firin' line
Rockets fallin', battle callin'
"No shelter" said the warning sign
Yeah, I know that we played it down, claimin' you were bulletproof
You wore it like a crown, shoutin' secrets against the roof
Give all I have to hear you laugh
At your own jokes, Jeffrey, one last time
(Jeffrey, one last time)

(Yeah, yeah)
She walks with the angels (tonight, in those diamond shoes)
She talks to strangers (she might, they can't refuse)
Jukebox in the dance halls (ignite, she lights the fuse)
She walks with the angels (she walks with the angels)

One week out of Providence, you finally got the call
We used to joke about the joys of Protocol
I said goodbye and I waited in the hall
And God knows I have to start learnin' how to crawl

(She walks with the angels) Yeah, I know it's true
(She walks with the angels) I see her too
(She walks with the angels) Of my favorite sacrifice
(She walks with the angels) Back into the afterlife

She walks with the angels (tonight, in those diamond shoes)
She talks to strangers (she might, they can't refuse)
Jukebox in the dance halls (ignite, she lights the fuse)
She walks with the angels (she walks with the angels)

She walks with the angels (yeah, yeah)
She walks with the angels (yeah, yeah)
She walks with the angels (yeah, yeah)
She walks with the angels
She walks with the angels

Great job on these lyrics! The melancholic narrative of loss is woven beautifully into the imagery which makes for a very emotive piece of work. The narrative unfolds well whilst maintaining a sense of intrigue and suspense. The chorus is very catchy and the repeated phrase "She walks with the angels" resonates strongly and anchors the song.

The bridge also does a great job of varying the pace and adding dimension to the song. You have a unique ability to create vivid imagery through your lyrics and that's something to be really proud of.

As for constructive suggestions, consider revisiting the verse 'Dolly back, fade to black...' There are some less familiar phrases here that may not immediately resonate with listeners. Using more universally understood phrases might help establish a stronger connection with your audience.

In the line, 'At your own jokes, Jeffrey, one last time,' it might also be worth considering if introducing a specific name adds or detracts from the overall theme of the song as it is the only place a specific person is addressed.

Finally, you can also consider reducing the amount of repetition in the end, unless it is musically required.

You have an amazing ability to portray stories through your lyrics. Keep up the excellent work and keep honing your craft. You're doing terrific!
